Be Forward Wanderers has finally appointed their long serving player Josephy Kamwendo to be the team's Technical Assistant. This appointment has been done through its executive committe.
Confirming the development, Beforward Wanderers Chairman Gift Mkandawire said that the main reason on Kamwendo's appointment is that they want him to look after and manage newly exposed players both at main team and the reserve side.
"Joseph Kamwendo is a long serving and loyal member of our team so we decided to honour him in this way in the technical team." Said Mkandawire.
When asked if kamwendo will still be playing for the team or not, Mkandawire did not miss words by hinting that Josephy Kamwendo will still be featured in some games and processes to register him as their player and their Technical Assistant this season is underway. "Josephy still has that hunger to play for the club hence will be featured in some games but not as 100% due to his newly appointed position". He said.
Our reporter tried to hear from Joseph Kamwendo on his appointment by the club but all efforts proved furtile as his mobile was off.
Josephy Kamwendo came back in this country some few weeks ago from South Africa after terminating his contract with the club he was playing with due to some misunderstandings with the club's executive.
