Just a month after two Lilongwe men trendend on social media for gifting their wives convertible Audis, Blantyre based Ambewe real name Stanly Mbewe has given his would-be wife a stylishly luxurious BMW on her bridal shower.
In a video clip making rounds on Whatsapp, the girlfriend, Joyce Nyirenda is seen stepping monumentally towards her hubby and grab the keys wrapped in a bouquet.
"Mesa mmati timangosunga ndevu ku Blantyre?" An unidentified woman screams in the background in retaliation to the mockery memes that Lilongwe men were making saying Blantyre men are only good at keeping beards.
The bridal shower took place at AJ Gardens in Blantyre. Most single ladies are reportedly envious of the couple for the lavish ceremony.
Apparently , rumours have it that the BMW is more expensive than the two Audis gifted in Lilongwe combined.
Giving cars has recently taken over gifting cooking pots,pails, and washing baskets in bridal showers as it previously used to be as per tradition in Malawi.
