The Dowa First Grade Magistrate's Court has convicted and sentenced two sex workers Rahema Banda (23) and Linda Banda (20) to 18 months imprisonment with hard labour each for the offence of unlawful wounding.
The two sluts on September 19 2019 at Chezi Trading Centre (Limpopo Bar) in Dowa District unlawfully wounded Evance Chafewa, 25, and Chimwemwe Bonyo, 22, picking a quarrel in a mockery chart.
It was revealed that the two prostitutes wounded the two men with bottles of beer for calling them ugly prostitutes.
The convicts pleaded guilty to the charges in court.
Rahema Banda comes from Chigwiri Village in Traditional Authority Maliki in Lilongwe while Linda Banda is from Mayani Village in Traditional Authority Tambala in Dedza District.
