With covid 19 around ,we have seen a lot of changes like working from home, closing of businesses ,closing of shops and school, banning of concerts and worse of all lockdown. Fortunately or maybe not fortunately Malawians are not on lockdown but the question is how has this affected us especially the music industry. When it was first announced that occasions with no than 100 people should not take place that's when things went down we saw one of the most iconic RnB musician Kell kay canceling his long awaited engagement ceremony, well we were hurt I dnt think it's just me lol you too right ?

Musicians like Lucius Banda decided to host a less than 100 people show so that they get some money since that's their biggest source of money as artists but how effective was it ?

I was surprised when I saw a trailer of a movie which showed that it was a 2020 production and I was like "wow" so people are still shooting movies and going on with their plans while am at home on couch watching tv because there is covid 19 lol okay it's not my fault schools are closed .Again I saw Falz new music video Bop daddy which I suggest you listen to you know he never disappoint lol okay back to our story a 2020 production.

How many of our Malawian artists are still working towards their music despite this pandemic we saw Kell kay, Cash madam, Tay grin and other artists just to mention a few bringing out a song about Covid 19 thumbs up I must say it's a great song, Piksy  did the same and Sangie also gave our her song and so did Bensam entertainment a song which featured Ill mind, dette flow, Seven omore and Roy view. Whats common among all of the is they are trying to give out  a message on the pandemic. Ok before we go further Charisma dropped his new hit despite the coronavirus situation and the video is lit just like the songs title. King Chambieco is going to have his show which he clearly said he will have the show happen no matter what. Seems like they are still doing their music and I hope we all work towards our goals too we shouldn't relax let's make use of this holiday to work on ourselves, our talents and our family and loved one's. So that when it's legal to eat out or have shows again we should atleast have gained something from the "stay home" situation.

Teddy who just recently dropped a song weeks ago which featured the Queen Hazel Mak titled Unyanya suggested on his facebook page that he should have a show as soon as the ban has been lifted and yes his fans were quick to agree and I personally was a super excited. Let's keep this a secret but when the ban has been lifted we should make sure he gives us the show lol.

Stay home stay safe let's wash our hands with soap as much as we  can and lets avoid touching our eyes ,nose and mouth

Once again stay safe
