In a bid to empower female artists, GNG International and Climax Entertainment has capitalize on "Kwa George" hype to expose grassroot talents.

 

The Zambian hit maker, B1 well known for the hit single "Kwa George" is scheduled to tour Malawi for a series of shows in Lilongwe and Kasungu.

 

According to the organizers, the Kasungu show slated to take place on 8 September at Kasungu Culture Club will see Brinnah and Toria curtain raising for the Zambian star.

 

The two artists will also share the stage with Malawi's Dancehall artist Don Tarz, Bianca, King Chambieko.

 

Speaking in an interview, GNG International and Climax Entertainment events manager Beatrice Saidi said the two firms are focusing on promoting local talents especially female artists.

 

"We have noticed that female artists face so many challenges. Furthermore, we have also noticed that those who have made it are not given their much deserved respect hence we are here to change the narrative," Saidi explained.

 

Brinnah is a 24 year old afro reggae Dancehall artist who started recording in 2014 and she is currently working on her debut mixtape.

 

Toria, sister to rapper Mwanache is  a 23 year old rapper who started music in 2015 and she has recently released "Sangapange" music video.
