Milanzi Malawitunes FC suffered a frustrating 2-1 defeat in Balaka, a match overshadowed by questionable officiation that negatively affected the flow and fairness of the game.
From the first whistle, it was clear that the officiating team lacked control and consistency in their decisions. Several crucial calls went against Milanzi Malawitunes FC, including denying clear fouls and overlooking infringements that disrupted our attacking momentum. The referee’s decisions created tension on the pitch and heavily influenced the outcome of the match.
Despite the challenges, the boys showed great determination and fighting spirit. We managed to score a goal through Shabilu Aubi and we continued to push forward, but the imbalance in officiation made it difficult to compete on fair grounds.
