Hip hop icon Phyzix aka Captain Bae has described the Ghetto Festival show as a success and is enthused to host more shows in a bid to expose upcoming artists.
The free show brought together both veteran and up and coming artists who shared the stage at Zingwangwa Secondary School Ground on 27 July 2019.
"Im impressed with the turn up which proved the festival was a success" he expressed his gratitude via a telephone interview with Malawitunes on Thursday.
He further bemoned unpatriotic acts by some ill-minded individuals who according to the artist wanted to sabotage the hype.
"Even though the venue was jam-packed and artists ready to give out their best, some people were switching off the electricity hence disturbing performances " he said.
The self-styled rapper made it clear that they had made proper arrangements for the supply of power at the function despite the interaptions.
When asked on the way forward after the first festival, Captain Bae revealed that the shows are continuous and are scheduled to be held quarterly.
"This is not the end of it, we will be holding these shows every quarter of the year . The next shows will be held in Lilongwe ,Mzuzu and Zomba"
Apparently many youths have applauded the initiative taken by Phyzix as it creates a platform for exposure of budding talents in the country alongside uniting people with free entertainment.
The Ghetto festival was organized by It's Only Entertainment with support from Borneo Coaches,Itel and other individual well wishers.
