Dan Lu is a Malawian South African based Afro-Pop musician who was born on the 26th of july in Malawi. His music career spans over 11 years and has an estimated fan base of 1.1 million in a country whose population is over 13 million. The best 2011 Afro-pop music category awarding winner recently launched his album entitled ‘Sorry’ in December last year (2014). The artist has done collaborations with other African artists chief among them The Third, K-Millan both from Zambia and Nameless from Kenya, Dizzy Don from Zimbabwe, Tay Grin from Malawi and Bongani Fassie, from South-Africa. He also has a talent for different instruments like the keyboard and has experience in studio arrangement. The artist has so so far recorded four albums namely 'Shupie', 'Khaze', 'No Size', and 'So What'. His last album 'So What' features renowned artists such Missionaries, Piksy and the Orga Family.
