Life in Malawi , particularly the southern region is noty the same in aftermath of cyclone Freddy with people losing loved ones , properties among other heartbreaking damages caused by the cyclone .

Having wrecked havoc in Madagascar and Mocambique in the past weeks , cyclone Freddy stormed Malawi with torrential rains on Friday 12th March and persisted to Tuesday with close to 400 people losing their lives with hundred others still missing and hundred of thousands of survivors displaced by the natural disaster.

According to some survivors in Chiladzulu where an entire village was washed away by floods, in the early hours of Monday they heard water and stones rolling in a nearby hill and within minutes their village was filled with running water and muds .
