Two different genres of Music in one-piece, Malawian multi-lingual poet writer and performer has taken up a challenge to fuse music and poetry in his latest project set to be released on 30th of April this year.

The Mulanje based poet has collaborated with the inform love songs genius Rashley in a heart-breaking love story that has been finned tuned by the mixture of two genres of literature.

According to the video Snipped produced by multi-talented VJ Ken of Auto Focus, the poem and music in one piece is about a young couple deep rooted in love but fails to make it to the final vows following a disagreement of parents who did not agree with the poverty of the persona in the piece.

Ndazasangalala hit maker is dazzling the his creativity in the hook of the piece before a good commander of Chichewa poetry,Mlakatuli Sitima comes in with the whole story fused with sweet created elements of literature.

In an interview, Raphael Sitima has expressed optimism that Malawi will embrace the new touch of music and poetry.

“all along we have been using backgroung songs from musicians whom we don’t know. Now is the time that we must collaborate with musicians, by doing that art will win and trust me Malawi will love this project and ask for more,” said Sitima.

On Profit making , Sitima is satisfied on how Malawians have started to buy poems hence giving poets a chance to make earnings worth their efforts. 

 

“The poem is not out, but I have received an overwhelming response in pre-orders, let me confess am only left with less than 50 thousand to meet the money that I spent on this project so honestly am happy that Malawians are now loving art, poetry to be precise.” Said Sitima.

 

Kwathu video and Audio is selling at a minimum of 500 Malawi kwacha pre order. 

 

Raphael Sitima has mor than 60 poems in his name including the famous Chala Changa,Chanenepa Chikondi and Ulendo wa Dolika.
